• Данная структура присуща многим
языкам мира. Она распространена
и в русском языке.
• 2. Дом будет построен через
пять месяцев.
• 1. Книга написана Л.Н. Толстым.

• Действие совершается не субъектом, а
по отношению к нему.
• Не книга что-то написала, а, наоборот,
она сама была написана неким автором.
• Смысл структуры страдательного
залога(The Passive Voice) сохраняется и в
английском языке.

• The Passive Voice образуется очень
просто:
• Глагол to be + Participle II (3-я форма
гл.)
• The letter was written by my
mother.(Past Simple Passive)
• The letter will be written by my
mother.(Future Simple Passive)

• Если в предложении указано
лицо, совершающее действие,
то оно присоединяется к
сказуемому предлогом by.
• The work was done by my brother

6.

• Перед словом,
обозначающим инструмент,
материал, вещество, стоит
предлог with.
The ground was covered with
snow.

7. Временные формы страдательного залога:

Present simple- am/IS/are written
Past Simple- was/were written
Future Simple- shall be/ will be written
Present Perfect- has/have been written
Past Perfect- had been written
Present Continuous – is/are being written.
Past Continuous- was/were being written.

8. Passive Voice отсутствует в:

•Future Continuous и в
группе времен
Perfect Continuous

• В английском языке в страдательном
залоге употребляются глаголы не
только переходные, но и глаголы,
требующие косвенного дополнения (to
give, to show, to offer, to tell) и
предложного (to speak of, to listen to, to
look at, to look for, to send for)

• Подлежащее в Passive
Voice всегда выражено
именительным падежом
(he, she, it, we, you, they).

11. Fill in the correct passive tense of the verb in the brackets.

of people through the ages.
• Something… (must/do) soon.
• My question (answer) yesterday.
• Nick (send) to Moscow next week.

12. Rewrite the sentences into passive.

• They will build a new hospital next month
• The Prime Minister will open the new hospital
on Monday.
• Careless drivers can cause accidents.
• Aloud noise woke them up last night.
• They will translate his book into Portuguese.
• They found the minister guilty of fraud.
