14.  General parameters

General parameters
► The "general parameter" tables group the most of the G.O.L.D. STOCK parameters. STOCK. The data are
presented in a simple form as "Header - Lines" types, the header being the Parameter table, and the line
being the Table entry.
► A general parameters table usually contains one or more entries, but it can also not contain any (if it is for
example to define exceptional cases).
► According to the cases, the number of entries in the table can be fixed or variable. Some examples:
- the week day table (JSM) must contains 7 entries (one per day)
- the storage algorithm parameterisation table (ALG)contains so far 8 entries, which corresponds to 8
parameters used by algorithm. Only one modification of the programme will influence to modify this
number.
- the lift table (LIF) contains as many entries as the lifts existing in the warehouse ( so it is empty
usually)
- The (FPA) table of article preparation families must at least contain one entry which is used as
default value. The person in-charge of the parameterisation can then add as many entries as desired.
► The authorisation to modify a table and/or an entry by an user can be parameterised using the Safety
level:
- If the user ( ADM_USERS) is of "Normal" type, only the tables or entries with lower safety level to
that of the user can be modified.
- otherwise (the user "GLOBAL ADMIN" or "LOCAL ADMIN type) , this parameterisation is without
impacts
► The general parameters table support the multilingualism the description fields of the table and
entries can be used in different application languages.
► To each entry can be associated with one or more parameters:
- the description areas ( 5, 10, 20, 30 and 300 characters)
- 4 alphanumeric parameters (8, 8, 1 and 30 characters)
- 6 decimal numeric parameters of different sizes
► The use of the numeric and alphanumeric parameters in the entries is parameterised at the table level
(On this occasion a description is entered for the parameter). However, the description areas, do not have
this constraint.
► The feeding of the general parameter table is carried out exclusively using the following screens:
PMSParParamGeneManager: General parameter table management
PMSParParamGeneUpdate: Creation/Modification/Display of a general parameter table
PMSParParamGenePosteManager: Entry management of a general parameter table

16.  Operating parameters

Operating parameters
► The "operating parameter" tables complete the general parameter tables by adding an additional
dimension: in a given table, a list of parameters can be defined for an nth group of entries (n = 1, 2 or 3).
The term "lines" is used for the entries and the "columns" for the parameters.
► The below diagram represents the table ALT, for which 2 entries and 4 parameters have been defined:

Values
► The information distributed in various tables is done in the following manner:
- TB_ETAB contains the table entry and its security level
- TB_LETAB contains the table description, in various managed languages
- TB_LTAB contains the entry value combinations: (0,0), (0,1), (50,0), (50, 1) etc. as well as their
security level
- TB_LLTAB contains the entry value description combinations: (INITIAL, APPROCHE), (INITIAL,
PREPARE), (A LANCER, APPROCHE) etc.
- TB_CTAB contains the parameter codes: AFF, DESAFF etc.
- TB_LCTAB contains the parameter descriptions: "ALLOCATION", "DEALLOCATION" etc.
- TB_VTAB contains the values defined for each entry-parameter combination. For example: (50, 1) +
"DEALLO" P1 = 1
► It is possible to define for each entry-parameter combination etc.
- an alphanumerical value (represented here by P1) and/or
- a whole numeric value (P2) and/or
- a decimal numeric value (P3) and/or
- a date (P4)
► The feeding of the operating parameter table is carried out exclusively using the following screens:
PMSParParamFoncManager: Operating parameter table management
PMSParParamFoncUpdate: Creation/ Update of an operating parameter table

19.  Other parameters (a)

Other parameters (a)
Report management
► The 3 tables TB_FED, TB_IMPR and TB_TTY allow you to define...
- the list of G.O.L.D. STOCK application statuses
- the list of printers that can be used for each depot
- links between the statuses and printers, which can be narrowed by user and by screen
► TB_FED
Each status has a unique code, imposed by SYMPHONY EYC.
It is indicated for each status...
- if it is an ordinary status ("list") or a label
- the printout orientation: portrait or landscape
The status description supports the multiple languages.
► TB_IMPR
Each printer has a unique code on all the depots. Their naming comes under the responsibility of the
users. It is indicated for each of them...
- the code of the depot where it is located
- its type: List (laser printer etc) or Label
- the instruction before being used for the printout launch
- the number of maximum lines in the two orientations (portrait and landscape)
Note that the printer can be fictive. In this case, the status remains stored as the file which can be
consulted by the user.
► TB_TTY
For a given depot, each status must be associated with a printer adapted to its form (list or label). It
is, moreover, possible to narrow this association by user and/or by screen.
► The feeding of these tables is carried out exclusively using the following screens:
PMSParEditionManager: Report management
PMSParImprimanteManager: Printer management
PMSParEditionImprimanteManager: Printout - printer association management
© Copyright Symphony EYC. The contents of this document are confidential and not for reproduction without permission - Page 19

20.  Other parameters (b)

Other parameters (b)
Counter management
► The counters are used to allocate an internal number to different objects of the application: delivery
orders, preparation lot, SSCC no. etc. Each counter is characterised by...
- its code
- its limits (mini and maxi values)
- its increment step (generally = 1)
- the last allocated value
► TB_COMP
The counters used by the G.O.L.D. Stock application are in reality managed by using ORACAL
sequencer since many years. The table TB_COMP, used in the beginning, has been kept only in the
aim of storing the counter labels. The table key takes the ORACAL sequencer name.
Example of ORACLE sequencer (display by PL/SQL developer):
► TB_CPTBL
This table allows the user to manage the counters of DN numbers by delivered customer.
► The screen used for the counter management is limited to...
PMSParCompteurShow: Counter management, which allows you to display the "standard" counters
based on the table TB_COMP and the ORACLE sequencers.

► The article attributes allow you to define additional characteristics at the article level. They are
organised in a hierarchical way in Classes and Attributes.
A G.O.L.D. CENTRAL interface G.O.L.D. STOCK of the classes and attributes existed in the beginning. Its
deletion made independent the management of these data on the two applications
► TB_ CLAS
This table contains the attribute classes. For each one, the following data are defined...
- Code and description
- an indicator (Y/N) indicating if an article can have several attributes of this class.
Examples:
- colour: a single value possible (blue, white...)
- material (for a tissue): several values possible ( wool AND acrylic etc.)
► TB_ATTR
This table contains the attributes of each class. For each one, the following are defined...
- code and description
- three pieces of information (an alphanumeric field and two dates), which can be used or not
according to the need. For example, the dates can be used to define a validity period, and the
numeric value of a percentage...
- an indicator (Y/N) indicating if the above mentioned three information must be or must not be used
to pre-initialise the article-attribute link during its definition.
Example:
- The "Material" class contains two attributes: "Wool" and "Acrylic", for which the alphanumeric fields
have been entered with 30 and 70 (these values represents %)
- If these two attributes are later associated to an article, the association screen will enter by
default the values 30 and 70. The clerk can then modify them or not according to his needs.
► The classes and attributes parameterisation screens are...
PMSParClasseAttributManager: Class and attribute management
PMSParClasseAttributUpdate: Management of a class and its attributes
► The screen using this parameterisation for the feeding of the article ID is ...

24.  Report parameterisation (a)

Report parameterisation (a)
► G.O.L.D. STOCK has a screen which can be parameterised and which allows you to launch most of the
application reports (statements, statistics etc.). The aim of the tables AS_xxx is to parameterise this screen.
► The parameterisation requires...
- the implementation of a tree structure with N level allowing you to class the report programmes.
Thus a menu is established which is represented by a tree in the report launch.
- the definition of all the report programmes that can be used by the screen, for each programme...
- its linking in the tree structure
- the list of calling parameters, for each parameter...
- its characteristics (type, size...)
- a request which allows the user to propose a list of values (optional)
- the list of users authorised to launch the report
► The content of these tables is normally managed by SYMPHONY EYC, except the user authorisation.
► AS_MODULES_STRUCT
This table contains the menu options as the tree structure (element parent element). The root
element is represented by the "ROOT" code. A description must be entered for each option (multiple
languages managed)
► AS_MODULES
This table defines the report "modules", the module name is the proC programme name. A
description must be entered for each module (multiple languages managed).
The table indicates also if the report must be done in HTML mode.
► AS_MODULES_RIGHT
This table defines the authorisations: module links - users
► AS_PARDARG
This table contains, for each module, the classified list of the calling arguments of the report
programme, as well as the characteristics of each argument (type, size...)
► AS_ PARLARG
This table contains the argument description (multiple languages managed).
► AS_ REF_CODES
This table contains the SQL queries associated to the list of values used by report module

30.  Warehouse map (a)

Warehouse map (a)
► The Warehouse map defines the warehouse architecture, i.e. the entire storage location with their
characteristics. This architecture adopts an hierarchical structure, globally taken in the database schema:
Structure level
Tables ORACLE
Warehouse................ TB_ENTR
Depot...................
Warehouse area..........
Storage address..
TB_DEPOT (+ Table DEP)
TB_ZNS + TB_ZNSCH
Depends on the type of warehouse area:
► TB_ALS + TB_TRV + TB_RACK (Racks)
► TB_MAS (Masses)
► TB_ACC (Accumulators)
► TB_BANAL (Common)
► For processing performance reasons, a great part of information which appears in this structure has been
duplicated in a single table: TB_ADRESS. This table, which contains a record by warehouse address, is
maintained using different triggers and - if needed - upgradation by a night batch programme.
Warehouses and depots
► The hierarchical root of the warehouse map is the warehouse. A warehouse consists of one or more
depots. From an organic point of view, the warehouse corresponds to an ORACLE database schema. Since the
version 5.05, it is possible to manage several warehouses in an ORACLE instance, because of a warehouse by
schema.
► TB_ENTR
This table has the distinctive feature of having a single record which describes some characteristics
of the warehouse (EAN code, addresses, etc.). It is kept for the log because, logically, its data could
be a part of a general parameter table, almost all the management rules applicable to the
warehouse which appear in the above-mentioned tables.
► TB_DEPOT
This table, which contains a record by depot, manages essentially data related to the G.O.L.D. Radio
parameterisation. The major part of the management rules of the depots is in fact managed in the
operation table DEP, for the practical reasons.
► Three screens allow the update of these two tables:
PMSSynEntrepotDepotManager: Warehouse and depot management (General information)
PMSRcmParamRadioDepotManager: Radio parameter management of the depots
PMSRcmParamRadioDepotUpdate: Radio parameter management of a depot

31.  Warehouse map (b)

Warehouse map (b)
Shop areas
► Each depot has several warehouse areas (the minimum is around ten, because it is necessary to define at
least a dock, workshops, storage areas, a "full warehouse" area etc.).
The warehouse area can be defined as a storage location group having certain characteristics in common:
storage type (rack, mass...), geographical situation, naming rules of the addresses etc. These common data is
found in the tables TB_ZNS (and possibly TB_ZNSCH); the specific data at each location which is stored in
various other tables according to the type of storage of the area.
Example: in a rack area, the width of a cell is defined at the warehouse area level and is found in
TB_ZNS. However, its height and its width can be adjusted and are found as a result in TB_RACK
► TB_ZNS
This table contains thus the major part of the characteristics common to the locations situated in a
same warehouse area:
- the area type (Rack, mass, accumulation, common)
- some parameters used by the storage algorithm
- a large number of data used by G.O.L.D. Radio
- etc.
► TB_ZNSCH
This table complements TB_ZNS if the homogeneity rules must be defined when several SHUs can be
stored to a same address.
The example -type is the one with a mass area whose content of each address must be homogeneous
in terms of product AND of logistic variants. This rule induces the creation of 2 records in TB_ZNSCH:
(Area, Type=Product) and (Area, Type=LV).
► TB_TADER
This table contains the storage rules of an SHU in a rack cell (system called " twelfths). Any area of
"rack" type must mention a decision table code (Table TDC), whose storage rule detail is found in
TB_TADER
► The "warehouse area" information is mainly managed using the following screens:
PMSMagZoneManager (& Update): Management (& update) of warehouse areas
PMSRcmParamRadioZoneManager (& Update): Radio parameter management (& update) of the areas

32.  Warehouse map (c)

Warehouse map (c)
Storage locations (Warehouse addresses)
► The data related to the storage locations of a warehouse area are distributed in the various tables
depending on the type of the area.
► In the case of the "Rack" type, the data is distributed in three tables:
- TB_ALS for the information related to the aisles
- TB_TRV for the information related to the bays
- B_RACK for the information related to the cells (cell: location of a rack area which can contain one
or more warehouse addresses)
► Otherwise, each of other types has its own table:
- TB_MAS for the masses
- TB_ACC for the accumulators
- TB_BANAL for the "common" areas
► Generally, each table (except TB_ALS) contains two types of information:
- the static data, which describes the physical configuration of the location and its management
rules. For example: such rack cell is of "Reserve" type, has a height of two meters, and supports a
weight of 3 tons. This kind of information is generally defined once for all during the creation of the
warehouse map.
- dynamic data, which evolves depending on the merchandise flow. For example: the rack cell
mentioned previously contains two pallets, which is translated by an occupation schema of
'111100001111' (binary translation) and a weight stored of 1534 kg.
► TB_ALS
This table contains a record by aisle of rack area. It is very important for the location search
algorithm because it allows the user to eliminate some searches which are not useful for the aisles
which do not exist.
► TB_TRV
This table contains a record by bay of rack area. Its main objective is to manage weight restriction by
bay. It allows also to accelerate the location search (address search economy of the in-existing bays).
► TB_RACK
This table contains a record by rack area cell. It is important to note that a cell contains generally
several addresses: from 1 to 12 if it is of "reserve" type and from 1 to 26 if it is of picking type. (this
to explain the link, 1, n-1,1 between TB_RACK and TB_ADRESS)

33.  Warehouse map (d)

Warehouse map (d)
► TB_ACC et TB_MAS
These tables, which have almost the same structure, contain a record by warehouse address. Note
that, for this area type, the level is not managed.
► TB_BANAL
This table contains only a record by warehouse address. Note that, for this type of area, the
structure of the address can take different forms (from Depot-area till Depot- Area - Aisle- Bay Level)
► TB_ADRESS
This table, which is redundant with all the other tables of the warehouse map, has been created to
increase the performance in the batch processes. It contains in fact, the essential information
present in TB_ZNS, TB_ALS, TB_TRV... , and have a record by warehouse address. For example: A
rack cell which has 4 stacks will be described by a record of TB_RACK and 4 records of TB_ADRESS.
Important note: to meet the needs during the application enhancement, new information might be
directly added into the table TB_ADRESS without impacting the other tables. This way of doing is
to be banned!!!
The update of TB_ADRESS is ensured by the triggers, and is verified by a programme launched
regularly (ba_mag11).
► TB_STAEMP
This table contains the pairs (class, stock status) linked to reserve locations:
cell in the case of the rack
address for the areas of mass, accu or common type
Do not confuse with the table TB_STAPIC, which contains the status linked to the picking address.
This table is used essentially by the storage algorithm, which compares the location status
(TB_STAEMP) with the status of the SHU to be arranged (TB_STAUMS).

34.  Warehouse map (e)

Warehouse map (e)
► The record generation in the tables which describe the storage locations is only possible during the
creation or the extension of a warehouse area:
PMSMagZoneManager (& Update): Management (& update) of warehouse areas
PMSMagExtensionZoneRun: Warehouse area extension
► The static data updates can be carried out in a massive way (several locations) or unit ( for a cell or an
address):
> Main screens:
PMSMagGroupeAdresseUpdate: Address group modification
PMSMagAlleeRackManager (& Update): Management (& update) of rack aisles
PMSMagTraveeRackManager (& Update): Management (& update) of rack bays
PMSMagAdresseRackManager (& Update): Management (& update) of rack cells
PMSMagAdresseBanalManager (& Update): Management (& update) of common addresses

PMSMagEmbasesTridiManager: Tridirectional rack area entry point management
PMSMag(Allee)CorrUpdate (Bay) (Level): Modification of aisles (bays) (levels) of correspondence
PMSMagDeblocAdrManager: Address release management
► The dynamic data (occupation, weight...) is mainly updated during the stock movement at the address.
The programmes concerned are:
pk_algor3
... for the address reservation
pk_libad2
... for the address release
Also note that:
pk_picking ... which updates the weight stored at each movement, but only when the address is not
located on the floor.

Other tables linked to the warehouse map
► TB_QUAI
This table has been created during the dock lining implementation [GUA_STOCK_02 (V5.09)]. It
contains the reception and shipping dock description (a record by dock).
Each dock contains one or more addresses, called also dock lines. A dock line is linked to a single
dock.
► TB_GARE
This table has been created during the development of the pre-packing algorithm (CHU Strasbourg).
It is the conveyor stations areas in which cartons to be filled are derived. Each station is
associated to a certain number of picking addresses.
► ICORRES
This table is used by the data migration batch, executed when a new warehouse is started. It
establishes the correspondences between the address of the old system and G.O.L.D. STOCK
addresses.
► The screens used for the update of TB_QUAI and TB_GARE:
PMSMagQuaiManager: Dock management

38.  Areas, work sites and preparation paths (a)

Areas, work sites and preparation paths (a)
Overview
► In the beginning, the preparation area was a set of picking addresses homogeneous in terms of
preparation rules, and organised according to the preparation clerk's route (preparation path).
► With the development of new preparation process, the preparation area has become a set of addresses in
which a certain type of preparation is carried out, these addresses being organised or not following a
preparation path.
► If the concept remains the same, the vocabulary is enriched: thus we will speak of...
- the preparation area when referring to picking or floating picking (in the reserve)
- distribution, allotment or manufacturing work sites when referring to the places where these
homonym processes are carried out
- P.T.P. workshop for the location where the preparation in PTP mode is carried out
► Note that only the manufacturing work site does not need a preparation path.
Areas & Work sites
► The data related to the areas and / or preparation work-sites are stored in the following tables:
► TB_ZOP
It is the main table of the data structure. It is entered irrespective of the area type or work-site
type, and it is because of a record by area or work-site.
It contains a large number of parameters classified in different columns (General information /
Radio/ Vocal / Distribution / Allotment / Manufacturing / PTP) which will be or will not be fed, and
it depends on...
- the preparation mode: Picking, Distribution, Allotment, Manufacturing or PTP
- the material type used in the area: Paper, Radio, or Vocal
Note that the depot code does not appear in the table (i.e. in a multi-depot environment, it is not
possible to give the same code at 2 preparation areas located in the different depots)

Additional tables of TB_ZOP, used for the preparation area (mode = picking)
► TB_ZPNSR
This table contains data used by the preparation in G.P.I.D. mode : list of supports that can be used,
and number of supports that can be simultaneously prepared.
► TB_ZDCLI
This table allows you to define by consignee (i.e delivered customer) the quantity input rule to be
used during the picking: The input must be carried out by scanning each package if the number of PU
to be picked is lower than a threshold; otherwise, the clerk can enter the quantity.
► TB_CALOZP
This table allows you to define a parameterisation of lot types by preparation area, according to the
rules similar to the ones which governs the general parameter table TLO.
Additional tables of TB_ZOP, used for the distribution and allotment work sites
► TB_ZNCLI
This table describes the customer allocation in the work sites.
- In a given work site, a customer can occupy one or more addresses
- a same warehouse area which can be used as support for several work-sites, a same warehouse

43.  Articles (a)

Articles (a)
Overview
► In the schema, usually, the article repository is controlled by the level 3 (e.g.: G.O.L.D. Purchasing Office)
This one creates the articles, then sends them - accompanied by a data selection - to G.O.L.D. Stock.
► The data of a newly created article must be completed by specific information on the warehouse
management: Pivot address, storage rules, preparation rules...: An article can only be used by G.O.L.D.
Stock if the logistic data have been correctly entered.
► An "article" of G.O.L.D. STOCK is defined in a unique way by group:
[Order originator] [Radical] [Purchase variant] [Logistic variant]
Families (Merchandise structure)
► The merchandise structure of G.O.L.D. CENTRAL is sent as a very simplified form to G.O.L.D. STOCK. Only
the 3 higher levels are kept, and takes the denomination as "Family', " Sub-family" and "Segment".
► TB_FAM
This table contains the "Article families". It takes some information of the article ID (UBD
management, Weight variance, etc.) in the aim of reducing the task of data input.
► TB_SFAM
This table contains the two levels "Sub-family" and "Segment".
► TB_RETFAM
Table used for the parameterisation of customer returns in the context of "Return campaigns".
► The following are the related management screens:
PMSGdbFamilleLogManager / Update: Logistic family management
PMSGdbSousFamilleLogManager: Sub-family and segment management
PMSGdbRetFamManager: Return management by family

44.  Articles (b)

Articles (b)
Article: main data
► TB_ART, TB_ARTDT
The main table TB_ART contains the "static" data of each article: coding, packaging, typology etc. It
has a record by article (OO+ Root +PV+LV)
The purpose of the table TB_ARTDT is to keep by depot, the last update dates linked to a reception,
a shipment or an inventory of the article.
► TB_EAN
This table contains the EAN codes linked to the articles. Each article has normally at least an EAN
code, but can have many different types (EAN13, EAN18, etc.)
► TB_PIVOT
This table contains, by depot, the pivot address of the article used by the storage algorithm. It
contains only the pivot address used by the picking floating with movement.
► TB_PIVDEB
This table allows you to enter, always by depot, complementary pivot address (storage of a
maximum number of pallets at each pivot address)
► The following are the related management screens:
PMSGdbArticleManager / Update: Article ID management (includes the pivot address update)
PMSGdbArticleEANManager: EAN code management
PMSGdbArticleAdrDebordManager: Overflow pivot management

47.  Packings

Packings
Overview / Database
► The packing identity cards managed by the warehouse are referenced in a dedicated table (TB_EMB). This
table is normally filled by G.O.L.D. Central, via the "Article" interface.
► Theoretically, every packing has an associated article code, although it is possible to create locally
packing IDs on G.O.L.D. STOCK.
► The packing internal code is used etc
- In the Article ID management screen
- In the packing management screens: screenshot, account display etc.
► The packing article code is used etc
- In the stock display screens
- In the movements uploaded to G.O.L.D. CENTRAL
► TB_EMB
This table contains the characteristics belonging to a packing: coding, physical characteristics,
reference of the rental company if the packing is rented etc.
► TB_ETLO
This table allows you to define extra packing to be used during the lot preparation (i.e. moreover
support packing parameterised from elsewhere)
► The following are the related management screens:
PMSAgrEmballageManager / Update: Packing management
PMSEmbParTypLotManager: Packing management by lot type
Other tables linked to the packings
► TB_CTAGR
Table allowing the listing of the "packing account" (entry/exit movements) by third party.
► TB_EMBIO
Table allowing you to store in a temporarily manner movements concerning packings, before
recopying them in the common reception or shipping movement tables.

49.  Dangerous goods

Dangerous goods
Overview
► The management of dangerous products in G.O.L.D Stock is based on an international nomenclature,
called UN norm. The data is described in a table, (Table A) which defines the management rules applicable
to the different products in terms of transport, packing etc.
► This table is reproduced in the table TB_ONU: each record in this table corresponds to a "danger group"
code and to a line of the table A.
► All dangerous goods must refer to a danger group code. The information related to the dangerous goods
will be stored etc
- partly in the article ID (TB_ART): storage class, restriction tunnels etc.
- partly in the danger group (TB_ONU) referenced by the article ID
► TB_ONU
As it is not indicated by its name, this table stores the "danger groups" (A record by line of the table
A). It is the general parameter table ONU which stores the UN codes.
► TB_LIBONU
This table must have been added to store the descriptions related to the UN codes, too long for the
parameter description format
► TB_REGCP
This table defines the dangerous goods compatibility matrix, in terms of transport.
► TB_ARTPRQPPD
This table contains the list of "risk phrases" and the list of "caution phrases" (instructions appearing
on the D.G. documents)
► Besides the article ID management screen, the D.G data is managed using the following screens:
PMSGdbMatiereDangerManager / CreateUpdate: Danger group management TB_ONU
PMSGdbGstLibONUManager: UN code description management TB_LIBONU
PMSGdbSaisieRegleCPManager: Compatibility rules of D.G. TB_REGCP

51.  Picking

Picking
General
► Among the different preparation methods, the most common is the one which uses the permanent picking
addresses. G.O.L.D. STOCK offers different tools to notify picking assignments, i.e. to establish links between
articles and addresses of shops dedicated to this use.
► The system allows you to define an address by product-LV and - if needed - by Stock status.
► The allocation operation is accompanied by the notification of two thresholds (minimum and maximum)
which depends on the replenishment process.
► TB_PICK
This table contains the definitions of picking allocations : Article-address link, thresholds, picking
address class. Caution, it is only static data: the picking stock, as well as its different counters
(Ongoing, Reserved, etc.) are managed in "SHU" type structures (see later)
► TB_STAPICK
This table contains the possible stock statutes associated with a picking allocation
► TB_REPI
Table used by the picking reallocation process (it contains the definition of reallocation to be carried
out)
► TB_GRPAFPICK
Automatic allocation process parameterisation table
► Several screens allow you to manage the allocation / reallocation operations:
PMSGdbArticlePickingManager / Update: Picking allocation management
PMSGdbReimplantationManager /AideImplantationManager /DesaffectationPickingManager: Picking
address reallocation tools
PMSGdbAideImplantationManager: Allocation group parameterisation

53.  Third parties

Third parties
General
► The different third parties of the warehouse are references in the STOCK database:
- "Origin" third party: Suppliers, workshops, other warehouses, etc.
- "Consignee" third party: Customers, workshops, other warehouses
- Carriers
- Customs authorities
► The identity cards of the third parties are usually transmitted by the Level 3 application, but STOCK also
allows to manage them locally.
► The definition of Origin/Consignee third parties can use a hierarchy at two levels: Third parties and
Global locations. When this is the case, the third party can represent a company, and the Global locations its
different sites (factories, warehouses, etc.)
► TB_INTER
This table contains the 4 third party types: Origin, Consignee, Carrier and Customs Authority
► TB_LIEFONC
This table contains the possible variations of Origin & Consignee third party in Global locations
► The associated management screens are the following:

Preparation parameterisation: Other parameters
FIFO rules
► The "FIFO rules" allow you to define the organised sequence of FIFO criteria used in the processes of
readied-pallet, replenishment and floating picking
► These criteria can be: Creation date / Quantity / Traceability indicator(s) / Stock status(es)
► The rules are referenced by the article ID
► TB_REGFIE and TB_REGFIL
The criteria are defined in a "Header – Lines" type structure.
► Rule management screens:
PMSGdbRegleFIFOEnteteManager / CreateUpdate: FIFO rule management
PMSGdbRegleFIFOLigneManager: FIFO rule line management
Preparation ranges (and operations)
► This parameterisation concerns the manufacturing operations carried out at the end of preparation (not to
be confused with the traceability ranges). He uses only parameter tables (general parameters and operating
parameters)
TLO combined
► This parameterisation allows you to define the associations of "Lot types" (i.e.: pallet bases) used in the
detail preparation
► Rule management screens:
PMSGdbGestTLOCombiManager / CreateUpdate: Combined TLO management
Messages on DN
► This table contains descriptions which can be modified on various shipping documents. Manual
