There are two types of medical degrees available in Australia:
• A five-year and six-year Undergraduate Bachelor degree
• A four-year graduate entry Bachelor degree
• Equivalent professional entry Masters level degree (MD)

5. What will you study?

Current medical courses integrate
theory and practical components,
with clinical experience
incorporated from early on in the
course.
While the courses offered in
medicine vary between medical
schools they will give you the solid
basic knowledge of medicine and
the training in clinical skills that you
need to pursue the many career
paths available in the medical
profession.

medical science imagery, as well as histories of medical professions,
prominent figures and the medical school itself.
